Job summary

Whole Foods Market Canada is seeking a Dishwashing Team Member to maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, wash dishes, assist with deliveries, and provide courteous service to customers and Team Members.

This role requires reliability, on-time attendance, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Wage range is $18.50-$25.00 per hour, with Whole Benefits.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment; maintains equipment according to standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
