Job summary

Prestige Homes, a division of The Shaw Group Limited, seeks a Kitchen Designer to join the cabinet team. You will design quality kitchen plans and prepare shop drawings for CNC fabrication, collaborating closely with the manufacturing team to deliver orders.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, design software proficiency, and knowledge of cabinetry construction, with benefits including a four-day work week and health/dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience with Mozaik, 2020, AutoCAD or other design software.
• Experience in kitchen design, interior design, or other design related field.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office suite.
• Understanding of cabinet construction and details.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with cabinet manufacturing or CNC operations would be an asset.

In this role, you will work in collaboration with our cabinet manufacturing team to produce quality custom plans to order & build from.

• Prepare kitchen designs using Mozaik or 2020 design software
• Prepare all required shop drawings and other support documentation for CNC fabrication.
• Prepare kitchen takeoff to order cabinet doors and other component orders
• Coordinate kitchen-related service orders and service parts with appropriate departments.
