Job summary

RONA in Canada is seeking a customer-focused store associate to provide detailed product information to customers and fellow associates. You will promote products and services, manage orders, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and attractive.

You will deliver excellent customer service daily, follow up on orders, and assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise. Growth opportunities are available within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the store expert by providing detailed product information to customers and colleagues.
• Promote and recommend products, plans, or installation services that meet customer needs.

• Prepare weekly flyer.
• Enter orders, contact vendors on special orders, track and fulfill orders, and resolve issues.
• Deliver excellent customer service through daily execution of customer service programs and follow-up on orders.

Your role:

• Serve as the store expert by providing detailed product information to both customers and other RONA associates
• Conduct sales activities including promoting and recommending products, plans, or installation services that match customer needs
• Keep shelves stocked and merchandise correctly displayed
• Prepare weekly flyer
• Perform order management duties such as entering new orders for customers, reaching out to vendors on special orders, tracking and fulfilling orders, and resolving issues
• Provide excellent customer service through the daily execution of RONA customer service programs, including following up on completed orders to ensure customer satisfaction, and assisting customers as needed in locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
