Job summary

KFC in Newfoundland, Canada is seeking an Assistant General Manager to act as second in command and grow the business by delivering outstanding guest experiences. You will work with the Restaurant General Manager to drive results, lead a team, and prepare for progression to Restaurant General Manager.

You will manage daily operations, ensure safety and quality standards, handle cash and reporting, develop staff, and create a fun, fast-paced environment that keeps both customers and employees

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in fast-paced teams.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends/nights.
• Experience developing and coaching staff for performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a top-notch guest experience.
• Prepare world-famous chicken to high standards.
• Serve beverages and cook per specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for customers.
• Cash handling and daily reconciliation.
• Manage controls, operations, people development, and compliance.

Position Description

• Provide a top-notch guest experience
• Prepare our world-famous chicken at the highest quality standards
• Serve beverages, cook fresh and frozen product according to specifications
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment to ensure one hundred percent customer satisfaction
• Cash handling, reconciling cash and daily paperwork
• Managing financial controls, operations, people development, customer service and compliance
• Maintaining and ordering inventory and supplies
• Training and developing Team Members and Shift Managers to achieve operational excellence
• Addressing in-store issues and communicating plans to the team
• Ensuring all staff are following health, safety and security codes
