Job summary

La Vie en Rose, a proudly local retailer with a strong community focus, is seeking an energetic sales associate for our Montreal stores. You will engage customers, promote our lingerie and sleepwear lines, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience required.
• Customer service oriented and able to listen to customers' needs.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers to maximize sales potential and assist with product selection.
• Greet customers warmly, explain product features and benefits, and answer questions.
• Assist in opening/closing the store and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals and contribute to team targets.
• Support the team during busy periods and ensure smooth checkout experience.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for-answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
