La Vie en Rose Inc. in Fredericton, NB, is seeking an enthusiastic retail associate to welcome customers, explain product features, and drive sales across lingerie, sleepwear, and swimwear. You will assist customers, manage the floor, and help maintain a clean, inviting store environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm welcome.
• Help customers find everything they’re looking for—explain products and features and suggest others.
• Be available when customers are in the fitting room.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals (training will help).
• Manage the sales floor when managers aren’t present.
• Prepare and place products on the sales floor for a memorable shopping experience.
• Keep store and backstore clean and tidy.
• Look out for new products and share top picks with customers.
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process transactions.
• Respect and apply policies of head office departments and learn procedures.

What a typical workday looks like

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

Provide customers with a warm welcome;

• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
