A global biopharma company is seeking a Key Account Manager for its Canadian Vaccines Business Unit covering Edmonton, Regina, and Saskatoon. This position involves developing strategic territory business plans, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and leading discussions to optimize health system decision-making. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least 3 years of experience in specialty sales or account management. Competitive compensation and a company vehicle are included.
Are you a strategic thinker who thrives on building strong partnerships and driving meaningful impact across healthcare systems? GSK remains committed to achieving bold commercial ambitions for the future. By 2031, we aim to deliver £40 billion in annual sales, leveraging our existing strong performance momentum to significantly increase our positive impact on the health of billions of patients globally. Our Ahead Together strategy is centred on early intervention to prevent and alter the course of disease, thereby protecting people and supporting healthcare systems.
Our diverse portfolio consists of vaccines, specialty medicines, and general medicines. Through continuous innovation and a dedicated focus on scientific and technical excellence, we strive to develop and launch new, groundbreaking treatments that address critical health challenges.
GSK is looking to hire a Key Account Manager to join our Canadian Vaccines Business Unit. This role is field‑based, covering Edmonton, Regina, and Saskatoon, and reports directly to the Regional Business Manager, Vaccines. The ideal candidate will reside within Edmonton. As a Key Account Manager, you will act as a business owner in your territory—developing and executing tailored territory business plans, building strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, and driving growth across your assigned region. You will collaborate closely with Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), marketing, and other internal stakeholders to support vaccine awareness, patient protection, and the optimisation of health system decision‑making. You will lead scientific discussions, influence decision‑makers, and collaborate cross‑functionally to support GSK’s mission to unite science, talent, and technology to get ahead of disease together. Your ability to demonstrate business acumen, communicate complex scientific content, and work autonomously will be critical to success.
This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business and allows for the provision of a company‑leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, GSK will need to obtain acceptable results from a licence verification inquiry and driver’s abstract review against its safe driver programme requirements.
Why GSK? Uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
