  • Develop and drive broad customer relationships across all levels with a key focus on building relationships at an appropriate level within the customer.
  • Execute the strategy for the customer
  • Ensure the delivery of JCBP (Joint Customer Business Plan).
  • Optimize the use of resources in order to obtain more profitability in the operations

  • Relationship Building & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility, with clear and confident communication abilities (written and verbal).
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong financial literacy (forecasting, ROI analysis, RGM), and ability to analyze data (scan, shipment, syndicated (i.e. Nielsen). Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to coordinate with internal teams (sales, supply chain, marketing, finance) and strong project management skills to ensure flawless execution of key initiatives and customer programs.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven Thinking: Comfort with data platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Salesforce TPM) and ability to translate data into compelling stories.
  • Strategic Account Management: Proven success in managing national accounts, developing, and executing annual business plans.
Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).
Job specific requirements
  • 4-6 years of progressive CPG experience (strongly preferred).
  • Bonus Requirement – Sobeys Expertise: Deep understanding of Sobeys systems and familiarity with their organizational structure and planning cycles.
Travel requirements
  • Ability to come to the office 2-3 times a week and attend customer meetings, as required.
