Job summary

The Salvation Army in White Rock is seeking a temporary Christmas Kettle Driver to deliver and pick up kettles across the White Rock Corps service area, including Tsawwassen, Delta, Ladner and South Surrey. This role requires a valid Class 5 license, a personal vehicle, and reliable, friendly customer service.

Shifts vary (days, afternoons, evenings, weekends) with a half-hour unpaid meal break; flexibility is required. The position involves lifting up to 20 lbs and wearing Salvation Army ID.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle with valid insurance.
• Ability to lift/move up to 20 lbs.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and/or pick up kettles from assigned locations as directed.
• Deliver kettles to final destination and help deposit contents into bags.
• Create or follow drop-off/pick-up schedules.
• Greet staff, clients, volunteers and the public in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain daily mileage log.
• Perform other related duties as required.
