Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a Christmas Kettle Campaign Coordinator to manage day-to-day kettle operations, maximize volunteers and donations, and ensure compliant coverage across locations.

You will recruit and supervise volunteers, coordinate deliveries, record revenues, handle donor inquiries, and prepare post-campaign reports. Some evening/weekend work is required and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Some high school coursework; completion of high school is an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle - required.
• Satisfactory driver’s abstract required by The Salvation Army.
• Criminal record check satisfactory to The Salvation Army.
• Minimum of one year related experience or in customer service.
• Money handling experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Attend training on The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign and Salesforce.
• Coordinate kettle deliveries to locations prior to volunteer arrival at campaign onset.
• Ensure all kettle donations are delivered to secure location after shifts.
• Coordinate kettle counting volunteers and record revenues daily.
• Assist with recruitment of new volunteers and supervise kettle volunteers.
• Submit timesheets and mileage reports bi-weekly; respond to donor questions.
