The incumbent is responsible for oversight of several Christmas Kettle locations in a given geographical zone area. Zone locations include shopping malls, grocery stores and retail outlets.**Accountabilities:****Incumbent may perform all, some, or similar range of duties as below:*** Attend a day of training/orientation on The Salvation Army and the Christmas Kettle Campaign* Provide support in getting Kettles to zone locations prior to volunteer arrival at Campaign onset* Ensure all Kettle donations are delivered to secure location at shift completion* Communicate daily issues and supply deficiencies to Fundraising Coordinator* Orient and remind volunteers regarding proper Kettle handling and duties as required* Supervise, support and assign (as required) Kettle Volunteers throughout the Campaign* Participate in the recruitment of new volunteers* Visit locations during shift changes and intermittently* Communicate daily with ATL partner for effective transition* Respond to questions/queries from potential donors regarding SA ministries and programs.* Assist with the reception of full kettles at the end of the day.* Perform other work-related duties as assigned.The above responsibilities must be discharged in accordance with The Salvation Army’s Mission Statement, in a professional manner, upholding our code of conduct.**WORKING CONDITIONS:*** This is a temporary position.* Shifts may include days, afternoons, evenings, weekend shifts, and split shifts, Monday through Saturday.
