Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a Senior Kafka Developer to design, develop, and maintain large-scale event-driven and real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.

The role requires 6–8 years of experience with Kafka, Java (advanced concepts), AWS Cloud, and microservices architecture; hands-on AWS cloud-native development and performance tuning. This hybrid 2 days onsite role is contract for 12 months in Toronto, Ontario.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience as a Senior Kafka Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka and real-time data streaming.
• Proficiency in Java (advanced concepts) and AWS Cloud.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience building enterprise-grade streaming apps on Kafka.
