Description

We’re looking for a skilled Junttan Operator to join our foundations crew on a major heavy civil project just outside of Logan Lake, BC. In this role, you’ll operate industry-leading Junttan piling rigs to install steel-driven piles for foundation and shoring work. Wage

$51.00 to $54.00; per hour (as per the collective agreement).

Benefits Package

Benefits (as per existing collective agreement with CLAC) including extended health coverage, dental, optical, prescription drug plan, short term & long-term disability, life insurance, accidental death & disability coverage and emergency travel.

Location of work

Logan Lake, British Columbia

  • Project based position working fourteen days on and seven days off working 10 hours per day
  • Travel and living out allowance would be provided to those who qualify
  • Work will be primarily outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • Extended health & wellness benefits provided by CLAC Alberta
  • Anticipated start date: January 2026
Essential Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently operate Junttan PM25 and PM28 piling rigs for steel-driven pile installation on heavy civil projects near pipelines and in high-traffic areas.
  • Perform thorough safety checks, including pre-trip and walk-around inspections, and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.
  • Collaborate and communicate professionally with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
  • Lead by example in safety and productivity, ensuring full compliance with company, client, and regulatory safety standards.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience operating Junttan piling rigs
  • Strong knowledge of steel-driven and sheet pile installation
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively on large-scale heavy civil projects
  • Commitment to safety and compliance, including successful completion of a pre-access drug and alcohol test
  • Possession of CSTS 2020 and Basic Rigging
Compensation

This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.

Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
