Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting field-related environmental monitoring activities.
- Perform tasks under the supervision of the crew supervisor.
- Assist in creating and presenting reports.
- Support in tracking and reporting field activity.
- Participate in safety discussions and associated documentation.
- Monitor for bear activity near the work team.
- Travel as required for various field programs.
Skills
Junior or Graduate-level field experience in sampling, monitoring, and report writing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working in remote wilderness settings
Physically prepared to navigate uneven terrain
Collaborative mindset
Previous consulting experience preferred
Education
Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree
Two-year Diploma in Natural Resource science or Environmental Science
Environmental monitoring/technician course
Class 5 driver's license
Familiarity with Argo operation
