Job summary

Insight Pest Solutions Canada is hiring a Junior Technician in Surrey, BC. This full-time, permanent role offers outdoor work, daytime hours, and opportunities to grow within a hands-on pest control team.

You will inspect homes, identify pests, apply treatments, complete service reports, and educate homeowners on prevention. Training to obtain a Pesticide Applicator License is provided by the company.

9:00am - 5:00pm PT (Monday - Friday); Approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities

The Role: Your Mission

You’ll be the hero homeowners call when unwanted guests show up uninvited. Think problem solver, detective, and customer-favorite all rolled into one.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Inspect homes inside and out to identify pests, entry points, and infestations

Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs of equipment
• Comfortable working in different environments (crawl spaces, damp or dusty spots)
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good people skills
• We willhelp you obtain a Pesticide Applicator License(we will provide you training material, help you study, and apply for the exam)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Desire to learn, grow, and be part of a solid team
• Interest in pest control or learning a skilled trade

Important

Prior to servicing customers in the field, successful candidates must complete their licensing exam and required training.
