A technology solutions provider is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer in Enfield, NS. This entry-level position focuses on technical planning and system integration for military platforms. Responsibilities include engineering trade studies, writing specifications, evaluating designs, and testing systems. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and good communication skills. Familiarity with avionics systems and standards is preferred. An inclusive work environment is promoted, and eligibility for security clearance is required.
The candidate will work in the Halifax Avionics Systems Engineering (AVSE) section for the military CP‑140 Aurora and other military platforms. The candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
