Job summary

SweetTech is seeking a developer to diagnose and fix client-reported issues in our loan origination software. You will speak directly with clients, reproduce issues, and use Claude Code and Codex to investigate and implement fixes, validating results with tests and clear updates.

You will own the issue from first contact through follow-up, working with AI coding tools daily and collaborating with CTO and experienced developers to grow into feature work.

Qualifications

• Foundation in software development through a degree, internships, personal projects, or equivalent practical experience.
• You can read, write, and debug code and explain a web application you built.
• Familiarity with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, web APIs, Git and SQL. Willing to learn frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

• Talk directly with clients to understand their goal, what happened, and impact.
• Reproduce issues, capture steps, expected and actual behavior, and logs.
• Use AI coding tools to investigate causes, develop fixes, and add tests.
• Read and explain AI-generated code and justify changes.
