Job summary

Sun Life in Toronto is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development, integration and ongoing operations of enterprise applications within Corporate IT. Open to new graduates and early-career professionals, with responsibilities scaled to experience level.

You will contribute to AML and Financial Crime tech platforms in AWS, data integration, ETL pipelines, and scheduling. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure software and support ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Foundational programming knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and data integration.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to AML/financial crime data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, and support enterprise software applications and data pipelines.
• Analyze requirements and contribute to solution discussions.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL jobs using AWS Glue or Informatica.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adhere to security/compliance standards.
• Provide incident resolution and on-call support.
