GHD in Waterloo, Ontario is seeking a Graduate Quality Assurance Inspector to join our field team on highway, road and bridge construction projects. You will perform inspections under engineering staff direction and apply civil engineering principles.

The role involves developing technical skills, performing standard tests, entering and analyzing data, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting project tasks while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Civil Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma, or Civil Engineering degree.

• Enter, verify, and analyze basic data for reporting.

• Support reporting by performing basic data reporting tasks.
• Organize own work schedule each day in line with changing priorities.
• Maintain and repair plant and machinery under close supervision to meet regulatory and safety standards.
• Assist in simple product development or engineering tasks, such as gathering data or preparing documents, following established procedures.

What You Will Bring To The Team

Education

• Completion of a Civil Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma, or Civil Engineering degree.

Experience

• 0–2 years of related field experience.
• Past experience in construction field work is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s licence.
• Team player cooperative with other staff, open sharing of information and knowledge.

Salary range: $30 per hour. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for GHD locations in major city centres. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations.
