Job summary

Hunter Bond in Montreal is seeking a front-office engineer to build high-performance Python tools for real-time risk, pricing, and trading decisions. You will collaborate with quants and traders to translate complex risk ideas into production-grade systems, and help define the architecture of a next-gen front-office platform.

You should have strong CS fundamentals and 2+ years of Python experience, with a passion for markets, trading, and performance-critical challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals (degree preferred, not essential).
• Exceptional Python skills with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Curious, analytical, and genuinely interested in markets, trading, and how things work under the hood.
• Enjoy solving hard technical and mathematical problems where performance matters.
• A strong teammate with personality - you care about building great systems and building great relationships
