Job summary

Propak Systems Ltd. is seeking a Junior Piping/Structural/Vessel Designer to assist in the detailed drafting design of piping systems for process modules and equipment. You will contribute to 3D models and 2D drawings, and report to the drafting manager.

The role interfaces with project engineers and coordinators, requiring strong English communication and the ability to work independently or in a team within a fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering Design Drafting Technology (EDDT) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2010 or higher.
• Knowledge of Cadworx or Navisworks is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Carries out original layout and design of process equipment modules for oil and gas facilities.
• Creates and models piping designs and detailing of piping.
• Produces 3D models, isometrics, and structural drawings.
• Organizes design data and vendor information; interfaces with engineering teams.
• Collaborates with Piping Checkers, Mechanical Engineering, and Fabrication Shop.
