Job Description
  • Assisting intermediate and senior staff with engineering design on a variety of projects.
  • Completing detailed engineering drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Developing quantity estimates, working day schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Assisting in the preparation of tender document specifications.
  • Providing input into preparation of engineering service proposals.
  • Preparation of technical memos and reports for a variety of roadway and transportation projects.
  • Occasional field investigations and site visits.
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a University degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of design experience on transportation engineering projects.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario, or actively pursuing licensure (if not currently licensed, the job title will be adjusted as appropriate until licensure is obtained).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is considered a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing technical specifications for tender documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Strong attention to detail, with proven problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
  • Effective team player with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle with current registration and insurance.
