Our client, a well-established leader in the construction and fabrication industry, is seeking a Junior Logistics & Receiving Coordinator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and initiative are key.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Work closely with project managers, foremen, and field staff to manage material movement between the shop and job sites.
  • Create and maintain bills of lading, cut lists, invoices, and shipping documentation.
  • Record shipment data, verify contents, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Support inventory tracking and assist with administrative duties related to logistics.
  • Foster positive working relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or shipping/receiving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data management, and reporting).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and open to helping where needed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience with ASA software or similar logistics/ERP systems or SAGE.
  • Background in construction, manufacturing, or rebar industries.
  • Diploma or certification in Office Administration or Logistics.
  • Experience with sales or client coordination is an asset.
