Job Type: Fulltime (Financial)
Location: Montreal, QC (Need Locals)
Description:

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack
• Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews
• Work closely with architects or senior engineers on the low-level designs
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling
• Remain current on new technologies and make recommendations as necessary
• Perform unit and dev testing to deliver high-quality solutions
• Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management

Requirements

• 4+ years of total experience in Java, Spring framework, Spring boot, and JPA
• Working knowledge of Relational DBs (MySQL/PostgreSQL) & NoSQL DBs (MongoDB)
• Knowledge of build tools like Maven.
• API based platform development experience
• Strong experience in SQL and in-depth knowledge of data structures
• Strong communication skills and willingness to take initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities
• Some recent and successful experience in a properly functioning agile team would be extremely advantageous

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
