Job summary

IXL Learning, a leader in EdTech, is seeking Software Developers for the Integrations team in our Toronto, Ontario office. This role focuses on designing and building tools to simplify school integrations and enable seamless data exchange with customer ecosystems.

You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment to deliver robust integrations and internal tools, contributing to a next-generation platform that supports educators and students worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Solid grasp of general programming principles.
• Excellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented language.
• Knowledge of Java, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, React, Linux, and Git is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and refine a large set of integrations and internal tools.
• Find and use the best technologies to add features to our products.
• Implement data exchange methods and standards and develop prototypes with product management and third-party partners as necessary.
• Work in a fast-paced, agile environment to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, meaningful solutions.
• Help mature existing and develop new standardized processes around IXL’s technical implementations; contribute to the vision and design of a next-generation integration platform.
