Qualifications
  • 0–4 years of experience in engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), or asset/maintenance management—co-op and internship experience are welcome!
  • A diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Technology, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline
  • A willingness to learn, contribute to a collaborative team, and grow in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • An interest in naval engineering, logistics, and systems thinking

Due to the nature of our work, successful candidates must be eligible to obtain required government security clearances.

Responsibilities

As a member of Fleetway’s Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team, you’ll contribute to engineering analyses and logistics modeling that support the Royal Canadian Navy’s current and future fleet. Depending on the project, your work may include:

  • Supporting maintenance planning and lifecycle logistics strategies
  • Conducting analyses such as:
    • Logistic Support Analysis (LSA)
    • Availability, Reliability & Maintainability (AR&M)
    • Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
    • Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
    • Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
    • Spares and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) modeling
  • Assisting with asset and maintenance management activities
  • Monitoring and resolving obsolescence issues
  • Supporting Program Managers with customer engagement, presentations, and formal reports
  • Reviewing engineering data, design changes, and contractual requirements
  • Applying military and commercial specifications throughout the product lifecycle
  • Understanding and working with S1000D technical publications
