Job summary

Onterris, Inc. is seeking a Junior GIS Analyst to join the Digital & Project Services team with office-hybrid-remote opportunities across Canada. The role offers an hourly rate range of 28.00–32.00 CAD, with starting pay dependent on skills, experience, and location.

You will apply GIS to environmental and engineering projects, create spatial data and maps, perform junior analyses, and assist in maintaining geodatabases and mapping standards. Collaboration with field teams will be essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related discipline or technical diploma.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of geographic and projected coordinate systems and transformations.
• Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and extensions.
• Proficient with ESRI ArcPro.
• Working knowledge of ESRI Field Maps and Survey 123 data collection.
• Strong cartographic design and high-quality map production.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team player.
