Job description

Our client in Sperling Manitoba is seeking an individual to join as a Junior Estimator / Project Coordinator. Our specialty is the execution of complex, multidisciplinary projects involving structural and mechanical trades.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Interpret drawing, specifications and customer instructions in developing cost estimates, proposals and schedules for project bids.
  • Work with the Sperling Project Management Team or directly with the customer to fully understand project requirements and customer needs.
  • Execute projects as a member of the team by proactively coordinating and collaborating between internal departments and subcontractors.
Education and / or Experience
  • Candidate must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Written and verbal communication proficiency is required.
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management or an Engineering Technologist Program is an asset.
  • Experience in Structural and Mechanical disciplines in an industrial sector is an asset.
  • Experience in drafting and modelling is an asset.
Other Skills and Qualifications
