Junior Engineers hired into the FortisBC Engineer-in-Training (EIT) program will gain technical and organizational experience and training through rotational opportunities (6 months to 1 year per rotation) within the various business areas and geographic regions within which Fortis operates. The rotations provide EIT’s with “hands on” experience in technical, operational and business related fields, as well as the opportunity to develop leadership skills. Each rotational assignment will increase in complexity and responsibility in order to meet acceptable engineering work experience and will include opportunities to explore practical experience, management, communication and the social implications of engineering and sustainability.
