Job summary

ZTR LLC in Canada is seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer – Electrical to join our support team. You will troubleshoot PLC-based solutions, configure locomotive operations, and occasionally travel to customer sites for commissioning and installation of ZTR equipment.

Key duties include on-site training, customer service excellence, and contributing to project management and sales support. Domestic and international travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma or Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PLCs and field service.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure and troubleshoot ZTR locomotive operation, products, and solutions.
• Provide excellent Customer Service and Support in field and telephone support.
• Travel to customer sites for commissioning & installation of ZTR equipment.
• Provide on-site technical training and presentations to customers.
• Perform sales support and project management tasks as assigned.
