Job summary

Divine Flooring is seeking a Junior Designer in Calgary to learn the flooring design business from the inside and grow into a real design career. You’ll collaborate with design and sales teams on live projects, building relationships with clients and suppliers.

You don’t need years of experience—your curiosity, drive and willingness to learn matter most as you gain hands-on exposure to product selection, space planning, and project execution across Calgary spaces.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Visual Design or a related field (recent grads welcome — this is built for you)
• A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Design software experience (AutoCAD, Measure Square, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) is a strong asset

Responsibilities

• Product selection, material boards and design presentations for clients, builders and designers
• Space planning and flooring layout for real projects
• Supporting site visits, measures and installs so you understand how design decisions actually play out in the real world
• Working directly with architects, interior designers and builders on live projects
• Learning how a project moves from a concept on paper to a finished space people walk into
