Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a cost controls professional to develop and maintain project controls systems, ensuring tight cost management across projects in Canada. The role includes EcoSys implementation, training, and ongoing support, with close collaboration with PMs, discipline leads, and procurement to optimize forecasts and control costs.

• Minimum 1 year of cost control experience in major EPCM projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost allocation, and financial risk management.
• Proficiency in Ecosys project controls software.
• Knowledge of Excel, Aconex Cost, Primavera P6, Power BI.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, and procurement to update forecasts, evaluate change orders, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support contract management and invoicing processes by reviewing invoices, monitoring accruals, and providing cost insights.
• Participate in project meetings to provide updates and ensure compliance with internal project controls standards.

Expected compensation

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $64,700 - $74,000 annually, applicable to Ontario and British Columbia) . Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
