Dalhousie University is seeking a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to support institutional reporting and analytics. You will help develop, maintain, and improve reporting solutions to enable evidence-based decision making across the university.
The role emphasizes building Power BI dashboards, validating data, and collaborating with Senior BI Analysts and Data Architects. Hybrid work is available within Nova Scotia.
Salary $38.70 - $49.01 per hour ($65,403 - $82,835 per annum, 32.5 hours per week per week)

This is a provisional classification. Formal regular review classification procedures may be initiated at any time by the incumbent or supervisor after the incumbent has worked a minimum of six months in the role.

The Office of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness ( OPIE ) is accountable for ensuring smooth, efficient institutional operations and supporting the strategic priorities of Dalhousie by providing shared services in the space of strategy development, project and planning support, data warehousing, governance and advanced analytics. Reporting to the Director, Data Transformation and Governance, the Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will support the development, maintenance, and quality of institutional reporting and analytics to enable evidence-based decision making across the university.
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work from within Nova Scotia) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.
