Qualifications

  • Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with EGM/CTTAM.
  • Experience with municipal & industrial process systems.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and designing automation and control systems.
  • Develop, configure, and troubleshoot automation software and hardware systems.
  • Participate in system testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

Our MPE office in Winnipeg Manitoba is currently recruiting for the position of Automation Professional to join the team

The position is primarily focused on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations, however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required

Your main responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and designing automation and control systems, including electrical and instrumentation components
  • Develop, configure, and troubleshoot automation software and hardware systems to meet project requirements.
  • Participate in system testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings to support project deliverables.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
  • Provide on-site assistance for maintenance and commissioning tasks, including occasional travel to client locations.
  • Support industrial networking and cybersecurity measures to ensure secure and reliable system operations.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
