As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Accounting team by adding an additional Junior Accountant. Reporting to the Controller, the Junior Accountant will support the department by performing a variety of accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency. This role is responsible for managing daily and month‑end accounting functions related to inventory, capital assets, financing, and other balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review inventory sale transactions for accuracy.
  • Manage financing of all inventory and rental assets.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile capital assets and rental fleets.
  • Prepare salesman commission calculations.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts at month end.
  • Assist branch personnel with inquiries and requests.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Training, Education and Experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.

Compensation Package
  • Salary between $40,000 - $50,000 depending on skills and qualifications.

Working Conditions: The Junior Accountant is based out of the Surrey office and works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday.
