Job Summary:

HR Service Jobs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking to advance their accounting career in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, with a willingness to learn and grow within the field. As a Junior Accountant, you will support senior accountants in day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and tax returns.

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.

  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and answering auditor queries.

  • Help track expenses, prepare reports on expenditures, and assist in budget preparation.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial policies and procedures are adhered to.

  • Assist with the preparation of tax filings and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience:
  • Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance is preferred, but not required.

  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures and software is an advantage.

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours:
  • Full-time position.

  • 40 hours per week.

  • Flexible working hours with some opportunities for remote work.
