HR Service Jobs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking to advance their accounting career in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, with a willingness to learn and grow within the field. As a Junior Accountant, you will support senior accountants in day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely financial reporting.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and tax returns.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and answering auditor queries.
Help track expenses, prepare reports on expenditures, and assist in budget preparation.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial policies and procedures are adhered to.
Assist with the preparation of tax filings and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of general accounting procedures and software is an advantage.
