Blue Ant Studios (Vancouver) is seeking a JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT to join the accounting team, reporting to the Senior Production Accountant. The role supports corporate and production accounting and provides administrative and junior accounting assistance across the department.

The position requires post-secondary accounting/finance education and experience with Netsuite and ADP is a plus. A strong Excel skillset and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in accounting or finance preferred.
• Experience using Netsuite and payroll through ADP preferred but not required.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Responsabilités

• Perform full cycle of accounts payable & payroll functions; process vendor invoices and payroll with approvals and project coding.
• Prepare credit applications, set up and maintain vendor accounts, handle vendor inquiries.
• Enter credit card transactions, post payments and reconcile statements.
• Prepare monthly GST/HST and quarterly WCB remittance.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for various entities.
• Provide administrative support for the accounting teams.
• Other accounting related functions as needed.

Blue Ant Studios (Vancouver) is looking for a JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT to assist our accounting team! Reporting to the Senior Production Accountant, this role would provide administrative and junior accounting support across all areas of the accounting department, including corporate and production accounting.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Perform full cycle of accounts payable & payroll functions; process vendor invoices and payroll with appropriate approvals, project coding, etc.
• Prepare credit applications, set up and maintain vendor accounts, and handle vendor inquiries.
• Enter credit card transactions (CASHét), post payments and perform credit card statement reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly GST/HST and quarterly WCB remittance.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for various entities.
• Provide administrative support for the accounting teams.
• Other accounting related functions as needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Post-secondary education in the field of accounting or finance preferred.
• Prior experience using Netsuite and running payroll through ADP preferred but not required.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Fantastic attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A self-starter who can work independently but collaborate with the team when needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Currently legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Hybrid Position

START DATE: As soon as possible / November 2026

SALARY RANGE: $55,000 -$60,000 (depending on experience)
