Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Sales Coordinator to join the Power-BusWay Team in Mississauga, ON.

The Jr. Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the sales team and facilitating the smooth execution of sales activities within an organization. This role involves providing administrative and operational assistance to the sales team, coordinating sales processes, and ensuring effective communication between internal departments, customers, and sales representatives. The Jr. Sales Coordinator contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the sales function by managing various tasks and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sales Coordinator in day-to-day operations, including order processing, customer inquiries, and sales documentation.
  • Manage and maintain sales databases, CRM systems, and other sales-related tools to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Process sales orders, review order details for accuracy, and coordinate with various internal departments for order fulfillment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, providing product information, and addressing customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Generate sales reports, analyze data, and provide insight to sales management regarding performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Assist in preparation and coordination of sales proposals, contracts, and quotations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission to customers.
  • Maintain proper documentation of sales activities, including contracts, agreements, correspondence, and customer records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to gather necessary information, coordinate sales initiatives, and support marketing campaigns, promotions, or events.
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of data to support sales forecasting and planning activities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, sales representatives, and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
  • Assist in training and onboarding of new sales team members, providing guidance on sales processes, tools, and systems.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve sales processes and propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field is a plus).
  • Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, sales representatives, and internal stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales databases preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and basic sales techniques is advantageous.Knowledge of the industry or products/services offered by the organization is a plus.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be fluent in English.
