Job summary

Vital Bio in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a proactive recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will partner with hiring managers, source candidates, coordinate interviews, and build strong pipelines while tracking activity and maintaining ATS data. The role is onsite and salary ranges from $60,000 to $85,000 CAD annually. The company is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, operations, or high-volume roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with hiring managers and managing full-cycle recruiting.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with manufacturing technician, production, quality, supply chain, or technical operations roles.
  • Agency recruiting experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing or technical sectors.

  • Track recruiting activity and maintain ATS data; assist reporting.
  • Help improve recruiting processes and candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to support growth.

About you:

You are a proactive, organized recruiter who enjoys building strong relationships and moving quickly without sacrificing quality. You’re detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable partnering with hiring managers to fill high-volume technician roles in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. You care about candidate experience, strong execution, and helping teams hire the people they need to keep production moving.

What you’ll do:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, operations, and other high-volume or hard-to-fill roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand needs, define role requirements, and develop effective hiring plans.
  • Source and engage candidates through direct outreach, referrals, job boards, networking, and community channels.
  • Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and keep the process moving smoothly.
  • Build strong pipelines for current and future manufacturing hiring needs.
  • Track recruiting activity, maintain accurate ATS data, and support hiring metrics and reporting.
  • Help improve recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and cross-functional partners to support workforce growth.
What you’ll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, operations, technical, or high-volume roles.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting and working closely with hiring managers.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities at once.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and standard recruiting workflows.
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing technician, production, quality, supply chain, or technical operations roles.
  • Agency recruiting experience is required, ideally supporting manufacturing or technical roles.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative, evolving environment with a high level of ownership.

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$85,000 annually. Compensation will be determined based on the individual’s demonstrated experience, education, training, relevant certifications or licensure, and other applicable business and organizational factors.
