REQUIREMENTS
  • Community College Diploma in Social Services or University Degree in Social Sciences. Related experience preferred. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated Commitment to Community Living
  • Willing and able to participate in activities such as swimming, fitness, hiking, etc.
  • Demonstrated Commitment to and experience in Person Centered Planning
  • Experience & flexibility in different areas across the Association
  • Commitment in involving people to become more involved in their communities
  • Work within a larger team dynamic
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with Dual Diagnosis / Mental Health Disorders
  • Demonstrated commitment in implementing communication strategies and following
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently as well as within a larger team dynamic
  • Commitment to supporting individuals with their D.A.S and BSP’s
  • Demonstrated experience in Core Competencies
  • This position requires access to use of personal vehicle for support of individuals and travelling to different sites
  • This requires the successful candidate to have a valid Ontario Driver’s License. The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver’s license upon being hired.
HOURS OF WORK

Shifts may vary, depending on the workload schedule that meets the needs of the people we support.
