A leading utility contractor is seeking a Journeyperson Powerline Technician to join their team for a multi-year project in Central Ontario. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining power distribution systems, mentoring junior personnel, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Candidates must have Journeyperson PLT certification and considerable experience in the electrical construction sector. This role includes union benefits and requires local residency or reasonable commuting distance.
We are currently seeking Journeyperson Powerline Technicians (PLT) to join our growing team to support a multi year Distribution project in Central Ontario.
Reporting to the Construction Foreman, PLT's are responsible for construction of overhead and underground electrical power distribution systems. This is a hands‑on leadership role where your technical ability, mentoring capacity, and commitment to safety will directly support our operations and team culture.
Please Note : This position is based around Central Ontario area, and candidates must reside locally or within a reasonable commuting distance.
This project will be a unionized worksite. Candidates must be willing to join Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW)
This position will be part of the CUSW union and benefits are provided by the union.
