A leading utility contractor in Central Ontario is seeking Journeyperson Powerline Technicians to lead construction of electrical distribution systems. Candidates must have Journeyperson certification and relevant experience in the utility sector. This position entails hands-on leadership, mentoring apprentices, and adherence to safety protocols, with benefits provided through the union. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.
We are currently seeking Journeyperson Powerline Technicians (PLT) to join our growing team to support a multi year Distribution project in Central Ontario. Reporting to the Construction Foreman, PLTs are responsible for construction of overhead and underground electrical power distribution systems. This is a hands-on leadership role where your technical ability, mentoring capacity, and commitment to safety will directly support our operations and team culture. This position is based in Central Ontario, and candidates must reside locally or within a reasonable commuting distance.
This project will be a unionized worksite. Candidates must be willing to join Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW)
This position will be part of the CUSW union and benefits are provided by the union.
