What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose and repair heavy‑duty vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Perform preventative maintenance and CVIP inspections
  • Operate buses for testing and diagnostics as required
  • Maintain accurate service records and support parts procurement
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and management to meet shop priorities
  • Keep your workspace safe, clean, and organized
  • Mentor apprentices and participate in training programs
What We’re Looking For
  • Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET), Commercial Transport, or Heavy Duty Automotive (with Air Brake endorsement)
  • CVIP License (or willingness to obtain during your probationary period)
  • 2–5 years of related hands‑on mechanic experience
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement (maximum 3 demerits)
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and safety‑first mindset
Bonus Points
  • Transit or fleet maintenance experience
Experience with work order management systems
  • Class 1, 2 or 3 license with the air endorsement
