Job summary

Qualifications

• Red Seal Electrician certification is mandatory.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract.
• Commitment to customer service and going the extra mile when servicing clients.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and quick on-your-feet thinking.
• Experience in food & beverage, forestry, mining, or natural resources is an asset.

About The Role

Reporting to the Electrical Service Manager and Operations Manager, the Journeyperson Electrician will work on a variety of commercial and industrial sites throughout the Vernon area. This is a casual position with the potential to transition into full-time, permanent employment for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Travel to a variety of customer sites in commercial and/or industrial environments to execute planned maintenance, repairs, or upgrades;
• Ensure all executed work follows scope and meets quality standards;
• Maintain the highest possible standard in all customer communication setting expectations and managing the customer experience throughout;
• Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Our Must Haves

• Successfully obtained your Red Seal Electrician certification;
• Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract;

• Experience working in food and beverage, forestry, mining, or natural resources industries will be considered an asset.

• Wage: $39.00 to $41.00 per hour
