Qualifications

• Class 5 driver’s licence with a current clean abstract.
• Completion of Journeyman / Women Automotive Technician program or equivalent apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections including Out of Province and Salvage.
• Conduct wheel alignments and recommend repairs.
• Diagnose customer concerns accurately.
• Complete repairs as per estimates efficiently.
• Road-test vehicles to confirm repairs.
• Maintain tools and shop organization.
• Communicate effectively with team members.

Job Summary

Precision Motor Worx Ltd is seeking a Journeyman / Women Automotive Technician or third/fourth‑year apprentice to join our fast‑paced, customer‑service‑oriented team across Airdrie and Red Deer locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections (Out of Province, Salvage – mechanical only, Commercial).
• Conduct wheel alignments, recommend repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose customer concerns following published diagnostic procedures.
• Complete repairs per estimates in a timely fashion.
• Road‑test vehicles to verify customer concerns and repairs.
• Maintain high quality workmanship and keep tools, equipment, and shop in order.
• Communicate with co‑workers and supervisors.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Mitchell OnDemand, Protractor Shop Manager software, and DVI software.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Solid problem‑solving skills and adaptability.
• Commitment to customer service and willingness to take on a leadership role.
