First Choice Maintenance is hiring a Journeyman Plumber based in Victoria, BC for a hybrid role blending commercial plumbing with light restaurant equipment work. This full-time, field-based position involves daily travel to job sites, primarily in the commercial and foodservice sectors.

Plumbing remains the core, with equipment work as a valued add-on; full training and support are provided for equipment. Most work occurs in active retail or restaurant locations, often in tight spaces during

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of plumbing experience in a service-focused role.
• Valid Class 5 (BC) Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems with emphasis on drain cleaning and blockages.
• Perform drain cleaning and jetting, service water filtration systems and plumbing fixtures.
• Complete service calls and preventative maintenance visits.
• Perform light servicing and basic troubleshooting on commercial ovens and related restaurant equipment on-site.
• Coordinate with equipment team on complex repairs beyond scope.
• Maintain safe, clean, and food-safe job sites; complete digital service reports and timesheets.
• Drive to different locations; company vehicle provided.
• Occasionally respond to after-hours or weekend calls.
