Medallion Energy Services Inc. seeks a skilled Journeyman Instrumentation Technician for a full-time role in the oil and gas sector.

You will install, test, calibrate and repair instrumentation devices and work closely with client teams on site to ensure safe, consistent operations. The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman Instrumentation Technician certification, be able to work shift, overtime, and weekends, and hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician.
• Available for shift work, overtime, and weekends.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Must work well in a team or independently.
• H2S Alive and Standard First Aid certifications required; CSO, Fall Arrest, and Aerial Work Platform certifications are an asset.
• Experience with instrumentation devices including valves, transmitters, switches, and tubing, along with proficiency using instrumentation testing equipment is an asset.
• Experience reading and redlining P&ID’s is an asset.
• Industrial maintenance experience in instrumentation on oil and gas sites is an asset.
• Experience supporting shutdowns/turnarounds or construction in industrial instrumentation is an asset.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians or coordinating with client site teams is an asset.
• Able to reliably commute or relocate before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Keep up on all admin duties including submitting daily tickets and material ordering.
