Medallion Energy Services Inc. seeks experienced Journeyman Instrumentation Technicians for a full-time role in Canada. The team delivers reliable, year-round service in the oil and gas sector with long-term opportunities and a stable work environment.

You will install, repair, calibrate and test instrumentation devices, read P&ID diagrams, and mentor junior staff while adhering to safety policies. Valid licences and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician.
• Shift work, overtime and weekend availability.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
• H2S Alive and Standard First Aid certifications required; CSO, Fall Arrest and Aerial Work Platform certifications are assets.
• Experience with instrumentation devices (valves, transmitters, switches, tubing) and loop/calibrators is an asset.
• Experience reading and redlining P&ID diagrams is an asset.
• Industrial maintenance experience on oil & gas sites is an asset.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians or coordinating client site teams is an asset.

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Instrumentation Technicians for a full-time position. Responsibilities

• Adhere to the safety policies set out by our client and their customers.
• Install, repair, calibrate and test valves, tubing, switches, transmitters, and other instrumentation devices.
• Be knowledgeable about and understand proper use of instrumentation testing equipment.
• Keep up on all admin duties including submitting daily tickets and material ordering.
• Read, interpret, and redline P&ID’s.
• Mentor other technicians providing them with the knowledge you have in the trade.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician.
• Available for shift work, overtime, and weekends.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Must be able to work well in a team or independently when required.
• Valid H2S Alive and Standard First Aid certifications required; CSO, Fall Arrest, and Aerial Work Platform certifications are an asset.
• Experience with instrumentation devices including valves, transmitters, switches, and tubing, along with proficiency using instrumentation testing equipment such as loop calibrators, pressure calibrators, and multimeters, is an asset.
• Experience reading and redlining P&IDs is an asset.
• Industrial maintenance experience as an instrumentation technician, including work on oil and gas sites, is an asset.
• Experience supporting shutdowns or turnarounds, or construction and project work in industrial instrumentation, is an asset.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians or coordinating directly with client site teams is an asset.
• Able to reliably commute or relocate before starting work.
