Job summary

A leading research university in Canada is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Technician to provide maintenance and support for Building Automation Systems and HVAC equipment. The role requires a journeyperson certification and solid skills in troubleshooting and diagnostics. Candidates must be able to work in varying conditions and handle physical tasks. A valid Saskatchewan driver's license is necessary. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $28.72 to $44.39 per hour based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Some experience in construction and maintenance of control systems.
• Experience in electronic troubleshooting and repair maintenance.
• Experience with Robertshaw, Delta and Delta V is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC controls.
• Review electronic and paper design drawings for work scope.
