Job summary

Ainsworth is looking for a Journeyman - Foreman Plumber for immediate project installation and commercial mechanical work. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, hold relevant gas and plumbing tickets, and demonstrate strong mechanical installation skills while ensuring a high level of customer service in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Foreman.
• Valid BC Driver’s License required.
• Experience running prime contractor projects.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and determine plumbing layouts.
• Install commercial & residential plumbing fixtures.
• Perform hydronic and chiller retrofits.

Job Summary:

Journeyman - Foreman Plumber(s) required immediately for project, installation, and commercial mechanical work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Able to work with minimal supervision.
2. Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, install commercial & residential plumbing fixtures.
3. Installation of various types of mechanical equipment and associated piping.
4. Hydronic retrofits, e.g., boilers, pumps.
5. Chiller retrofits.
6. Heat pump re-repairs.
7. Air handler installations.
8. Install natural gas (NG) distribution piping and size as per code.
9. Practice safe work habits and provide a high level of customer service.

Qualifications:

1. Active gas ticket, B ticket minimum.
2. Steam or Plumbing ticket.
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Foreman.
4. Understanding of Mechanical Installation and local codes.
5. Valid BC Driver’s License.
6. Experience running prime contractor projects.
7. Experience working with multiple sub-trades.
8. Experience working with multiple Journeymen and Apprentices.
9. Experience working with owners and consultants.
10. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
11. Ability to lift heavy materials, tools, and equipment when required.
